Welcome to our Garden Club!

Dahlias at Hershey Gardens
by Tamah Sminkey

Established in 1984, the aims of this club are to promote interest in and develop skills in gardening through cooperation, joint efforts and good fellowship. Our policy is to stimulate interest and share knowledge on gardening, and to serve the Bowie-Crofton area through community service projects which will enhance the beauty of our environment.

The club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at the Bowie City Hall, 2614 Kenhill Drive, at 7:30 P.M. in the multi-purpose room. We encourage visitors and potential new members. See our Information page for further details on club.

At each monthly meeting the garden club presents guest speakers who are well-versed in subjects relating to gardens and gardening. Take a look at the History pages for examples of the types of programs we offer.

We are thankful to GardenGuides.com for allowing us to use some of their fine articles and tips on all phases of gardening.

For further information please call the club President, Jesse Terres, 301-464-5914,
or contact the Membership officer, Lynn Snyder at 301-464-4642
