Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Bayscaping Page -- BayScapes are environmentally-sound landscapes benefiting people, wildlife, and the Chesapeake Bay. BayScaping advocates a "holistic" approach to landscaping through principles inspired by relationships in the natural environment.

Bowie-Crofton Garden Club -- The club web site contains lots of information. Included is a brief history of the club since its formation  in 1984, links to favorite gardening web sites, gardening articles and tips, a calendar of gardening events in the area, club bylaws and officers.

Cottage Garden -- The Cottage Garden is a discussion group. This topic has been going on for seven years a bit like our gardens -- never formal, just a bit rumpled, cram packed full of all kinds of great gardening stuff.... and lots of fun. New article every month or sooner, over 200 so far and going strong.
