Tues. June 27, 2017 - 7PM- Bonnie's Berries Visit

The farm is 1.6 miles east of Route 301 and on the South side of Central Avenue.   The mailbox has the house number on it and has a sign hanging on it of a black antique sewing machine.    
Come up the driveway and turn Left towards the barn.   Park on the left on the grass.
 Tuesday, June 27th at 7pm at Bonnie's Berries 
18101 Central Avenue,
Upper Marlboro
(approx. 20 minutes from Kenhill Center). 

Invite your friends and family to join the BCGC for a walking tour and pick your own
fruit field-trip. 

Carpooling is encouraged.

Remember to wear walking shoes for walking in sawdust and CASH to buy
the fruit you pick.

The BCGC visited this farm two years ago, but it has some exciting new additions to hear about. Under Randy Owens creative guidance, they now use netting to protect the berries from marauding starlings and are using a sawdust based method of mulch.  Besides the 11 varieties of blueberries the farm has added a large planting of raspberries.  

Harvest is now on so come join the club to visit this exciting pick your own and bring some local fresh fruit back.  

We will have a short business meeting during our stay so please bring chairs.
